As we get back to work and school this week, South Florida drivers continue to see stable prices at the pump so far this week.
“Florida drivers didn’t see much movement at the pump …, even though the cost of oil and gasoline futures moved higher,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “If wholesale fuel costs remain elevated, drivers could begin seeing more upward pressure on pump prices in the coming days.”
The average price in Miami and Fort Lauderdale is 11 cents a gallon lower than a month ago but 96 cents higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy, a national fuel monitoring service that surveys nearly 1,700 stations in South Florida…
