PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — A Pembroke Pines woman is facing drunken driving and child neglect charges after police said an officer spotted her 5-year-old daughter hanging out her vehicle’s window as she drove on a major road on Sunday evening.
Authorities said a Pembroke Pines police officer was waiting at a red light at Sheridan Street and Flamingo Road just after 10:30 p.m. when he spotted the young girl “standing on the rear set exposing her upper body outside the right rear window” of a Lexus driven by her mother, Isabella Fernanda Saenz.
