The Miami Beach Commission on Wednesday approved new rules to strengthen e-bike and scooter safety.
According to Miami Beach officials, riders younger than 16 must wear helmets when operating a bicycle, e-bike, scooter and related micromobility devices.
The new rules also say that anybody operating a micromobility device must use white and red lights from sunset to sunrise. Users also cannot carry more people at a time than the number a device is designed for…
