A failed prison drop of a large amount of contraband ended in a particularly weird way. The Florida woman who tried to deliver it ended up on the other side of the fence.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said that 31-year-old Makia Lashay Shivers of Broward County was arrested after deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person just outside of Martin Correctional Institution.
Shivers was found carrying bags with a vast amount of items that were intended for inmates inside the prison, including 464 grams of methamphetamine, 37 cell phones, K2/THC, cigarettes, alcohol, cell phone chargers, and shoes, along with other contraband, according to the sheriff’s office…
