MIRAMAR, Fla. — A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of luxury handbags and other belongings from South Florida social media influencer coach Stormy Wellington, days after police acknowledged they had initially arrested the wrong person.
Jail records show Shaquille Jaray Palmer was arrested late Friday night by officers with the Miramar Police Department and is facing a felony charge of first-degree grand theft of $100,000 or more.
The arrest comes after MPD officials acknowledged that a 31-year-old man had been wrongfully arrested in the case. That man was later released after police determined investigators had arrested the wrong person…
