NORTH MIAMI, Fla. — A 43-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a machete attack and cellphone robbery that police say occurred over two months ago in North Miami, while another person remains at large.
Police identified the suspect in arrest report obtained by Local 10 News on Thursday as Ronald Gedeon. They said the attack happened on Aug. 19 near Northeast 125th Street and West Dixie Highway.
Police said Gedeon and Royer Pantabillu, 35, approached the victim in the roadway about 2:46 a.m. Gedeon punched the victim several times while Pantabillu swung a garden machete at him, according to the report…
