BANK of America could owe you money if you received a late-night communication from them to collect a debt.
A $500,000 class action lawsuit claimed Bank of America violated Florida’s Consumer Collection Practices Act and now money is owed to eligible residents.
Florida residents who received a communication from Bank of America from 9 pm to 8 am local time dating back to April 22, 2020, can receive payment from the settlement, according to Top Class Action.
The communication from Bank of America could have been a text, phone call, etc. during the late night hours.
You can check your phone log to see if this occurred.
Bank of America has not admitted to any wrongdoing.
But it has to pay $500,000 for the settlement and resolve the lawsuit.
Class members can receive an equal share of the funds from the settlement.
