Listen Now! Miami is a big favorite over FSU, but anything can happen in a rivalry game

It’s a tale of two cities.

In Miami, a transfer quarterback joined the Hurricanes and took the team to new heights.

In Tallahassee, a transfer quarterback joined the Seminoles and floundered mightily.

When the Hurricanes and Seminoles meet for the 69th time this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Heisman hopeful transfer Cam Ward will be leading the charge at quarterback for Miami.

However, Seminoles transfer DJ Uiagalelei will be watching from the bench, demoted after a dismal start. His replacement, Brock Glenn has struggled and was benched for Luke Kromenhoek in last week’s loss to Duke.

Miami has had some close calls, but they still come in 7-0 and ranked No. 6, while FSU is 1-6.

The Hurricanes are 19.5-point favorites.

Seminoles fans could have never imagined a season like this just one year removed from an undefeated regular season and an ACC championship, only to be snubbed from the College Football Playoffs.

This is the season Miami fans have been hoping for since Mark Richt had the club start out 10-0 in 2017, only to lose their final three games, including a regular season-ender to Pittsburgh, the ACC title game to Clemson and the Orange Bowl to Wisconsin.
