“I grabbed the back of his head, and he grabbed the back of my head, and forcefully had the most beautiful kiss. It was so beautiful, backed off, I said ‘I love you,’ he said ‘I love you,’ and then he fell,” Nunez’s boyfriend, Chris Dillon, told NBC affiliate WTVJ .

Dillon said he tried to get Nunez to stand up, but he was unresponsive, so he called 911. He then discovered a wound on his boyfriend’s stomach.

Just hours later, Nunez was dead.

“I cried, I started sobbing on the floor,” Dillon told WTVJ.
