64-year-old missing Pompano Beach man found safe in Miami, FL

The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) has informed on its website that 64-year-old Edelberto Herrera, who went missing from Pompano Beach this week, has been located safe in Miami. This news will bring comfort to both his family and also to the community that worked together for his safe return to his loved ones.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit has located a 64-year-old man missing from Pompano Beach. According to investigators.

According to a BSO release, Herrera was last seen on January 4 around 3:15 p.m., near the 300 block of Southeast 13th Avenue. At the time, a missing persons alert was issued, prompting a wave of concern across the area.

At the time of his missing, BSO detectives did not provide specific details about Herrera’s appearance, but they did share a photograph and noted that he was wearing a turquoise Miami Dolphins jersey paired with a blue jacket.

Fortunately, the efforts paid off, and he was found safe, leading to a joyful reunion with his family.
