Body of Missing Florida Jewish Woman Recovered in Montana

33-year-old Danit Ehrlich, whose parents are members of a Chabad-run shul in Highland Lakes, FL, went missing over a week ago near a river in Missoula, Montana. After extensive search by Matzil Search and Rescue, her body was recovered and will be brought to kever Yisroel.

33-year-old Danit Ehrlich was reported missing over a week ago near the University of Montana. The Missoula Police Department reported Sunday it’s believed that missing woman Danit Ehrlich drowned in the Clark Fork River. Ehrlich was last seen in a park in Missoula, MT on Friday morning.

A few days later, Matzil Search and Rescue was activated and flew in to assist in the search. Matzil has been searching by helicopter, drone, ground, water, and underwater drone while local authorities deployed a dive team and water team into the river to assist in addition to their drone teams and sonar. Though the river was originally iced over, the temperature had warmed up, allowing for further search efforts…
