An internationally famous fried chicken restaurant from South Korea is making its South Florida debut in Miami Beach.
Known for its double-fried, hand-battered fried chicken, Bonchon — the name translates to “my hometown” — opens its doors on Washington Avenue on April 10. The location plans to give away free fried chicken platters and T shirts to the first 50 guests.
In addition to wings or drumsticks or a combination as well as strips or boneless wings, Bonchon will also serve other items on its Korean-inspired menu, including bulgogi (sliced marinated beef sauteed with mushrooms, scallions, sesame seeds and onions) and bibimbap (rice, scrambled egg, lettuce, carrots, sauteed onions, spinach and mushroom with the choice of tofu, chicken, bulgogi or other seafood)…
