MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A northwest Miami-Dade senior is facing two felony charges after authorities said he drunkenly ran over another man while driving a panel van in a gas station parking lot and then took off, leaving him dead.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on Sunday afternoon at the Sunoco at 10260 NW Seventh Ave. in the county’s unincorporated Pinewood area.
Deputies said surveillance video showed Norberto Reyes, 73, “staggering towards and entering the driver’s side of his parked 2003 Ford Econoline” at around 3:30 p.m. as the victim, whose name wasn’t released, stood on the curb…
