MIAMI, FL – A United Kingdom citizen has been sentenced to 188 months in federal prison for enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity. Jack Edward Coles, 40, was also ordered by Chief U.S. District Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga to serve 20 years of supervised release.
According to court records, Coles met a 14-year-old boy on a dating app in October 2024. Coles arranged for the minor to be picked up by a rideshare and brought to his hotel, where he then engaged in sexual acts with the boy. Coles later attempted to arrange additional meetings in October, November, and February 2025. He also enticed the victim to send him sexually explicit photographs in November 2024.
