A man is facing kidnapping and other charges after he allegedly stole a car with two children inside in Plantation earlier this month, police said.
Travaughn Andre Gaines, 45, was arrested Saturday on two counts of kidnapping-confining a child under 13 without parental consent, along with one count each of grand theft auto and grand theft, records showed.
According to an arrest report, the alleged incident happened Sept. 15 when a vehicle was stolen from outside One Price Dry Cleaning in the 8200 block of Broward Boulevard.
