Pompano Beach man arrested for allegedly leaving dogs caged in driveway exposed to sun with no food, water

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A Broward County man was taken into custody over the treatment of his dogs.

According to an arrest report, deputies responded to a home along the 100 block of Northwest 18th Street in Pompano Beach where they found two dogs in cages, in the home’s driveway, in the direct sunlight with no cover.

Deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office said the dog’s owner, identified as 45-year-old Daniel Gallumette, “unnecessarily deprived his two dogs of necessary sustenance, food and shelter.”

Additionally, deputies said they had received complaints that the dogs has been caged in the driveway for several days…
