A Miami-Dade deputy shot and killed a man at Goulds Walmart Thursday morning after responding to a call about shoplifting at the store, the sheriff’s office said.
The deputy was patrolling the area near the store at Southwest 211th Street around 7:15 a.m. when he received a call that security saw the man stealing items, said Detective Joseph Peguero, a sheriff’s office spokesman.
