New details were released on Monday after a man aspiring to be the next mayor of Miami-Dade County was arrested over the weekend and charged with battery after fleeing from officers in Miami.
Victor Rosario, 50, is facing several charges, including aggravated battery on a police officer and resisting an officer with violence, Miami-Dade Jail records showed.
According to Miami Police, on Saturday, two officers were on patrol in the Brickell area of Southwest 2nd Avenue and 11th Street when they saw Rosario inside a Chevy Equinox while holding a megaphone and shouting at people.
