Driver Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl and Cocaine During Traffic Stop in Plantation, Florida

A traffic stop in Plantation, Florida escalated when police discovered a significant quantity of illegal drugs in a driver’s car. According to NBC Miami, the individual, whose name has not been released, ran a stop sign in the 700 block of South State Road 7, which led to the traffic stop.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the driver was operating without a valid license and was also on probation for an armed carjacking incident. The seriousness of this traffic stop was compounded when officers discovered 178 blue pills, resembling Oxycodone but actually containing fentanyl, along with four rocks of crack cocaine and multiple clear plastic bags inside the vehicle, an incident mentioned in a post by the Plantation Police Department.
