2 arrested after Hollywood Police use grappler to stop stolen Jeep from Jacksonville

Two suspects accused of driving a stolen Jeep from Jacksonville were arrested in Hollywood after officers used a grappler to stop the car.

Rebekah Everhart, 44, was charged with grand theft, and Michael Kennedy, 45, was charged with driving without a license.

According to Hollywood Police, on Feb. 10, an officer saw a white Jeep Wrangler that matched the description of a vehicle that was stolen in Jacksonville.

An arrest report said that if a traffic stop were to be done, the vehicle might flee, so an officer decided to use his cruiser’s grappler to stop the vehicle…
