Miami, Florida – A flight headed from Puerto Rico to Atlanta was forced to make an emergency diversion after authorities say a passenger allegedly assaulted multiple travelers, including elderly passengers, during a midair disturbance.
According to officials, 31-year-old Ebony Shyteria Harper of Alabama was taken into custody after the incident aboard Frontier Airlines Flight 2089, which had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico and was bound for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
