Out-of-state trio gets off yacht, robs pair of nearly $10K at Miami marina, police say

MIAMI — Miami police arrested a trio of tourists after they said they robbed two people of nearly $10,000 in cash, plus personal belongings, at a marina on the Miami River just after midnight on Tuesday.

According to the Miami Police Department, it happened at the Regal Marina, located at 2215 NW 14th St. in the city’s Grapeland Heights neighborhood.

An MPD arrest report states that the two victims approached a yacht “in order to greet the captain, whom they knew.”…
