BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man will soon face execution for a June 2000 double homicide in which he stabbed his cousin’s girlfriend to death and then strangled and killed her 4-year-old daughter.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a death warrant for Richard Knight, 47, on Wednesday. Knight, who was convicted of the murders of Odessia Stephens and her daughter Hanessia Mullings, is set to receive a lethal injection at Florida State Prison on May 21.
