More than two years after a small plane crash-landed on Interstate 75, killing both pilots, federal investigators ruled corrosion of both engines is to blame.
The 68-foot-long Bombardier Challenger 600 had two pilots, two passengers, a crew member on board when it took off from Ohio State University’s airport the early afternoon Feb. 9, 2024, on its way to the Naples Airport. The plane had 350 gallons of fuel, the report said.
