Home Depot markdowns land shop worker in jail – after repeat customers given huge deals

A HOME Depot manager has been jailed after allegedly illegal markdowns handed repeat customers huge cut-price deals in a multi-million fraud probe.

Mauricio Jimenez, 48, was arrested on Tuesday following claims he abused his role to slash prices on bulk orders – costing the company millions.

The manager, from Hialeah, now faces charges of grand theft over $100,000 and organised fraud of $50,000 or more, according to Miami-Dade County Jail records.

Cops say Jimenez, who ran a store on West Flagler Street, had the power to approve price changes – and allegedly used it to push through “highly excessive” markdowns…
