Driver killed after car goes airborne over barrier on Farrington Highway

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – On Tuesday at about 11:55 p.m., a fatal collision occurred on Farrington Highway in the Kapolei area.

It was reported to the Honolulu Police Department that a 28-year-old man was driving eastbound on Farrington Highway at a high rate of speed when it rear ended a 60-year-old male motorist.

The 28-year-old driver lost control and collided with the center concrete barrier, causing it to travel airborne over the barrier into the westbound lanes of Farrington Highway, where it rolled over multiple times…
