Carlsmith Ball partners Alicia M. Fung and Ian R. Wesley-Smith have been recognized as 2026 Emerging Legal Stars.
Alicia Fung is based in the firm’s Honolulu office and is in the Transactional practice group, advising clients on a wide range of business matters with an emphasis on Real Estate & Development and Business & Corporate law.
Alicia received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawai‘i where she was a Regents Scholar. After working as a Construction Engineer, Alicia returned to UH and obtained her J.D. and M.B.A. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable Derrick M. Chan at the Intermediate Court of Appeals.
Her commitment to service includes volunteering with the Commission to Promote and Advance Civic Education, which was established by the Hawaii Supreme Court, and serving as a Board Member for the Real Property and Financial Services Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA).
