Local bar favorite closing International Marketplace doors

WAIKIKI, Hawaii (KHON2) — A local family-driven restaurant is hosting last call at its Waikiki location on June 13.

Moani Waikiki announced they are closing their doors on social media, just a few weeks shy of their fifth anniversary in the International Marketplace.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce this weekend will be our final weekend of operation,” the post read. “We invite you to join us one last time to celebrate and create lasting memories with your Moani ʻohana.”

Moani has called Waikiki its second home since 2021, and strived to create a space where friends and family can gather with “ono food, drinks and great live music.”…
