HONOLULU (KHON2) — Lava fountaining began once more from Halemaʻumaʻu crater at 9:32 a.m. on Sunday, June 14.
This marks episode 49 of fountaining from the ongoing eruption at the summit of Kīlauea.
Ashfall is being observed southwest of the crater, officials said. Take extra precaution if you have respiratory sensitivity.
