HONOLULU (KHON2) — Some tenants at Ward Centre said they’re having trouble finding a new location. Others said it was difficult to find a comparable area. Experts said the challenges are due to the changing landscape of retail market space.
Staff at Chong Qing Hot Pot are clearing out what’s left from their spot at Ward Centre. They found their new location at Discovery Center about a year ago, and are transitioning all their customers there.
“We’re kind of sad because this one was pretty popular,” said Wei Lin, Chong Qing Hot Pot manager. “But we have another location in Waikiki. And I hope that more people can come to that side.”…
