Firefighters extinguish fire at a Moanalua house

MOANALUA, Hawaii (Island News) — Firefighters extinguished a fire at a house in Moanalua late Tuesday morning and the cause is currently under investigation.

The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call about a fire at 1429 Ala Lonomea St. in the Moanalua area at 10:57 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30. When firefighters got to the scene at 11:07 a.m., they saw smoke and flames from the back of the home.

Firefighters began their efforts to take out the fire and they got control of the fire at 11:11 a.m. It was fully extinguished before noon at 11:50 a.m…
