New cancer center for clinical trials in Hawaii unveiled

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center held a grand opening ceremony for the new Hoʻōla Early Phase Clinical Research Center (EPCRC) on Monday.

The opening of this center-within-a-center marks a major milestone for cancer patients in Hawaiʻi: cutting-edge treatment through Phase I clinical trials will be available in the islands for the first time in state history.
