Helping Hands Hawaii’s Ready to Learn initiative, which provides backpacks filled with essential school supplies, has several distribution dates scheduled, with the first one coming up on Thursday, July 9.
Designed to help ease the financial burden of back-to-school shopping for local families experiencing hardships, up to 3,000 backpacks filled with notebooks, binders, pencils, pens and other essentials will help students in the new school year.
