HONOLULU (KHON2) — The famous Hawaiian monk seal “Rocky” is in the middle of raising her newest baby on the west side of Oahu.
While some official volunteers are making sure the pair is safe, a group of concerned residents has been watching over them day and night and hopes to get more help.
Rocky and her new pup attract a crowd at Nimitz Beach in Kalaeloa. That includes 11-year-old Zoe Austin, who’s come to watch Rocky the last three days.
