HONOLULU (KHON2) — The day in Hawaii began with games, laughter and plenty of movement. One moment, keiki are playing Nine Square in the Air indoors. Next comes bucket ball outside.
Later, everyone gathers to practice dance routines for the end of summer performance before sharing lunch and heading back for more games. That’s the day in the life of a Summer Fun camper.
But what about the volunteers? The local high school students who keep this program going…
