MCCULLY, Oahu (KHON2) — For some McCully residents, crossing S King Street to get to the local grocery store is easier said than done.
“I’ve been walking by this area, hitting the lights, and there’s no action with the lights,” said McCully resident Patrick Speltz, gesturing to the broken pedestrian lights at the S King intersection. “I just play like Frogger going across. Take a chance, if I got an umbrella or a bag, I just kind of hold it out so people can stop.”
