HONOLULU (KHON2) — It’s a celebration of masterful craftsmanship, innovative design, and the unparalleled beauty of furniture and fine woodworking created from Hawaiian-grown woods.
Hawaii’s Woodshow, Na Laau o Hawaii starts Friday and runs until August 29th.
“People will see a variety of exquisitely made wood pieces that include furniture, sculpture, wood turnings, and so much more,” said artist and past exhibition chair Andy Cole. “We have pieces made by some ot the state’s top woodworking artists along with some newer entries from our student divisions. It is exciting to see work from both seasoned artists as well as the inspiration from newer woodworkers.”…
