HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The trade winds are back! Enjoy Hawaii’s natural air-conditioning while you can. Today and tomorrow there will be lots of sunshine, winds out of the ENE at 10-15mph, and mainly windward and mauka showers.
The trades will weaken to light and variable by late Wednesday and languish through the end of the week as a low-pressure trough passes north of the islands. That also means an increase in clouds, showers and stickiness Thursday and Friday.
Breezy trade winds should return by the weekend…
