HONOLULU (KHON2) — A teenager was hospitalized and arrested after stealing and crashing a car in the Ala Moana area.
The collision happened at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 near Ala Moana Boulevard and Piʻikoi Street.
Emergency officials said the 16-year-old girl was apparently behind the wheel of a car and lost control, crashing into a tree. She received advanced life support and was taken to a hospital in serious condition by Emergency Medical Services.
