MANOA, Hawaii (Island News) — An 88-year-old woman was rescued after getting trapped in her car that overturned in Manoa Valley on Wednesday night.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the crash involving a car that flipped onto its roof around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, in the area of Kahaloa Drive and Woodlawn Drive in Manoa. The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) also responded to the accident where a 88-year-old woman was trapped inside of her car.
When HFD arrived on scene, they worked to safely free her from the overturned car. Once she was out, EMS took over with medical care…
