Ward Village breaks ground on Ilima and Melia residential towers

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Ward Village has broken ground on two new residential towers, marking the next phase of development in the 60-acre master-planned neighborhood.

The projects, named ‘Ilima and Melia, will add 369 residences and approximately 20,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial and retail space, with an anticipated opening in 2030. ‘Ilima will rise 33 stories with 148 residences, while Melia will stand 35 stories with 221 homes. Howard Hughes Communities is partnering with Discovery Land Company on the residential experience for both properties.
