City settles Honolulu police brutality lawsuit

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A settlement was reached for a father and son who filed a police brutality lawsuit against the City of Honolulu and several unnamed Honolulu police officers in connection with a New Year’s Day manhunt.

The men say they were innocent bystanders who were on University Avenue during a massive manhunt was underway on Jan. 1, 2024.
