Miske trial continues, family insider links alleged crime boss to kidnapping

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Michael Miske trial continues with an insider of the family accusing the alleged crime boss with the kidnapping back in 2017 and several other crimes.

Preston Kimoto testified that as a manager and salesman for many of Miske’s companies’ he was approached by a customer.

The customer said her father and CPA Seung-ji Robert Lee were in business together and said her father was ripped off by Lee.

Lee testified Tuesday that he owed the customer’s father nothing but was being harassed by him for money.

Kimoto said he gave Miske a photo of the target and a Post-it with his name, phone number and the amount in dispute, which was almost $1 million.

Kimoto placed the Post-it where Miske could find it and confirmed later he had received it.
