University of Hawaii men’s basketball center and fan favorite Mor Seck is out for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season with a left ACL injury.
The news was first reported by Brian McInnis of Spectrum Sports and confirmed by the Hawaii men’s basketball program less than an hour before tipoff against defending Big West Conference champion UC Santa Barbara.

Seck, a sophomore, saw an uptick in a bevy of statistical categories in the 2023-2024 season, including minutes per game (9.0 to 12.8), points per game (2.5 to 4.0), rebounds (2.6 to 2.9) and blocks (0.8 to 1.1).
