HONOLULU (KHON2) — Sage Creamery is a new sweet spot nestled in Kapolei.
Home of premium ice cream, coffee, and floats, Sage Creamy is sure to be a favorite among many, especially on the west side of Oahu.
“We named our business in honor of my late brother Daniel, who we refer to as our Sage,” said Founder and Head Ice Cream Taster, Zach Villaneuva. “He was an aspiring entrepreneur, who inspired us to launch this business. We’re a premium ice cream company, thoughtfully sourcing organic ingredients.”
Sage Creamery also sources locally. They get their vanilla from Laie, their chocolate from Kailua and honey from Wahiawa. They also do fun collaborative flavors with other local businesses like Ubae, Diamond Head Market and Daily Whisk Matcha.
All their flavors are inspired by Hawaii.
You can tell that the sweet Laie Vanilla they used for the root beer float has no additives. The sweetened condensed milk in the ice cream also gives it a sweet, smooth texture and mixed with root beer — it’s a great combination!
