Hawaii softball swept in doubleheader

The University of Hawaii softball team was swept in its Bank of Hawaii Classic doubleheader at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium on Saturday.

In its first game, UH was edged by BYU 3-2. The Rainbow Wahine led 2-0 heading into the top of the seventh but couldn’t hold on as ‘Iolani alumna Ailana Agbayani hit a 3-run home run.

In the second game, the ‘Bows fell to Ole Miss via mercy rule, 15-0, in five innings.

Hawaii closes out its weekend on Sunday with another game against Ole Miss at noon.
