HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Big Game is bringing in some big business for local retailers. From food to decorations, it’s been non-stop ahead of the Super Bowl.
There was only one way to describe the madness over at Party City ahead of the Big Game on Sunday.
“Man they came and ate it all up,” said Party City’s Vice President of Operations Andrew Shum.
Party City Hawaii has seen football fans shuffle in to prep for their parties.
The company said chiefs balloons are still in stock, but for the Niner Gang, due to some distribution issues on the mainland, 49er’s decor was hard to come by this year.
“We just wrestled some more plates, so if you’re looking for 49ers plates, we got them back as of two days ago. A lot of our balloons are sold out so if you want to decorate, I think there’s a couple more in Waikele but when I called they said a lot of them are selling right now,” said Shum.
Some lucky Niners fans scored big time.
“I actually got a table decoration and I actually found some plates,” said 49ers fan Elizabeth Soares.
