In Honolulu, a grim discovery has led to the arrest of three individuals on a multitude of charges following the tragic death of a 10-year-old girl last month, believed to be the result of severe physical abuse, medical neglect, and starvation.
During a press conference on Feb. 9, Lieutenant Deena Thoemmes of the Honolulu Police Department revealed that Brandy Blas, Thomas Blas, and Debra Geron had been apprehended and charged in connection with the death of Geanna Bradley. The charges include second-degree murder, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and conspiracy to commit first-degree unlawful imprisonment. Additionally, Brandy Blas and Geron face charges of hindering prosecution, while Brandy Blas and Thomas Blas are charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
Brandy and Thomas Blas served as Bradley’s legal guardians, while Geron identified herself as the girl’s grandmother.
According to Thoemmes, on Jan. 18, Honolulu Police officers responded to a residence in Wahiawa following a distress call from paramedics who discovered Bradley in a state of extreme distress. The young girl displayed significant injuries and bruises across her body.
