Family, friends, artists called to HEART of Honolulu Street Festival

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Whether you’re an aspiring artist, art-lover, or just someone who wants to get out of the house, the third annual HEART of Honolulu Street Festival should be on your “places to check out this weekend” list.

HEART stands for Heritage, Entertainment, Arts & Culture, Restaurants, and Theatre & Performing Arts, which is exactly what festival-goers can expect this Saturday.

The event is hosted by the Downtown Art Center and will showcase “local art, crafts, live local music, food vendors, and more.”

Reports also said there will be fun, interactive activities for the entire family.

According to DAC, over 50 vendors will be attending the event.

The festival will also close down Nuuanu Avenue from King Street to Chaplain Lane, drivers are advised to plan accordingly.
