With more than 20 locations in the U.S., Sugar Factory American Brasserie is now serving its Instagrammable goblet drinks and extravagant desserts on Oʻahu. The chain opened on April 10 at Ala Moana Center, in the space vacated by Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks in the Hoʻokipa Terrace. Along with its extensive menu of burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes and cocktails, it’s also serving Hawaiʻi-exclusive dishes including the Dakine Burger (with grilled pineapple and guava barbecue sauce on a taro bun), hamachi crudo (with raw potato salad, chili pepper water and shaved shishido peppers), and the Aliʻi banana cream milkshake (topped with caramelized apple bananas and served with mini pancakes).
